A modest lift ride transports you
from the mundane street level to the sublime,
seventh-floor, rooftop of the world-famous,
‘Dancing House’, designed by Frank O. Ghery. Above you are the heavens, while
before you the panoramic view stretches out
as far as you can see - taking in Prague
Castle, Vltava river, Little Quarter and Old
Town. Once seated it takes a while to take in
the splendour of the scene. The interior is modern, stylish and very well presented. The
expert French head Chef, Gwendal Le Ruyet,
draws on his extensive experience working
with Alain Ducasse at Il Cortile, Abbaye de la
Celle - Paris, The Essex House - New York (3
star Michelin), luxury boutique hotel Ice
House - Ireland and L'Ousteau de Baumaniere
- Provence (2 star Michelin). His exacting
dishes are destinguished by careful selection
of seasonal ingredients and attention to detail.
