The former Baroque Monastery, where this
restaurant makes its’ home, represents one of the jewels of the Little Quarter. The serene entrance courtyard, with it’s terra-cotta, pitched roofs and tree-lined terrace greet guests in a welcoming embrace as they enter. The other-worldly atmosphere
extends into the inter-connected, vaulted,
Renaissance rooms which form the dining spaces. Beige stone and a select choice of materials are introduced to create a series of simple and tranquil spaces which hint at the former, monastic use of the building. The restrained setting, quite rightly, puts the focus on the excellent, contemporary Eurasian cuisine with its exotic range of flavors and tastes. An extensive selection of fine wines, housed directly in the cellar spaces, accompany the meals. For after dinner drinks guest may retire to the more
flamboyant cocktail bar - Barego.
