Cosy, family-run, French bistro in the heart of the Little Quarter, round the corner from Charles Bridge, on Maltežské Square. Despite its central location this is allways a tranquil Square, permeated by the magical, centuries-old, patina of the Little Quarter with it's cobble-stoned streets and terra-cotta roofs. Occasionally, as the front door of the bistro opens you can catch enigmatic melodies drifting in from the music school next door. As you enter a cheerful, bright corner room with four large windows offering plenty of daylight and framed views welcomes you. While the side room lends itself to more private meetings. An original vaulted stone ceiling embraces the space from above while the parket floor and beige, charcoal colour scheme create a subdued canvas for the colourful artwork and bottled wines.
The menu offers a selection of French bistro dishes, prepared by the French chef-owner, using fresh ingredients, traditional recipes, at affordable prices. Dishes include: quiche, duck confit, goat cheese salad, homemade cakes, coffee, tea, wine and champagne by the glass.
