A very particular energy permeates the air here. It may be the historic surroundings, the close proximity to Charles Bridge or the fast-flowing water beneath the floor - the entire building is built on a pier which extends into the Vltava river! The open-plan space, with front bar and lounge area and dining area, summer terrace to the rear, allows guests to enjoy the fabulous views of the river, Charles Bridge and the Gateway Tower. The monumental stone arches of Charles Bridge sweep across your view as you dine. At night the bridge statues play their parts, like actors on a stage, beneath powerful spotlights. Meanwhile the show taking place inside, at the table, is no less dramatic. The chef draws inspiration for his singular dishes from the four corners of the globe - combining scallops au-gratin with Gouda cheese and Japanese soba noodles,
yellow fin tuna sashimi with rocket-pistachio
pesto.
