Being seated here, on the elevated first floor, means that people look up and smile as they catch a passing glimpse of this interior which is probably the most stylish Art Deco interior in the city. No expense has been spared here. The pristine, white marble floor is softened by the warm tones of the wood-paneled walls. These are, in turn, inlaid with delicate and fragile images of peacocks, antelopes, weeping willows and wispy clouds. But all are mere distractions in comparison with the wonderful view, framed by magnificent ribbon of windows, which form the facade. Here the Vltava river flows before you while the lace-work of Little Quarter roofs and spires are crowned by Prague Castle.
